2010 Put-and-take pheasant hunt registrations

The Indiana Department of Natural Resources offers put-and-take hunting for ring-necked pheasants, Nov. 20-28, at Atterbury, Glendale, Pigeon River (west of SR 3), Tri-County, Willow Slough and Winamac Fish and Wildlife Areas and Roush Lake.

Venison workshops offered in September for Indiana

The DNR Division of Fish and Wildlife is partnering with Purdue Cooperative Extension Service to conduct a series of venison workshops throughout the state in September.

Changes coming for this fall’s wild turkey season

A series of changes will be in effect for the fall wild turkey hunting season, including adding 16 new counties for the fall firearms turkey season and opening all counties for the fall archery turkey season.

Hunters Helping Farmers sign up starts July 1

 
Starting July 1, deer hunters who want to help landowners or farmers remove antlerless deer from private property during the regular deer hunting seasons can sign up online at www.IN.gov/dnr/fishwild.
